For conventional loans, does Pylon require 20% down to waive escrow?
Yes. A loan-to-value of 80% or lower is required to waive escrows on conventional loans.
What is the cost of waiving escrow, and when is escrow waiver permitted?
Waiving escrows results in a 0.25% (25 bps) pricing adjustment. Escrow waivers are not permitted on loans with a loan-to-value above 80% (i.e., a 20%-or-greater down payment is required to waive escrow).
