When should I use Optimized pricing versus Custom pricing?

Optimized pricing is the recommended default — it identifies the most favorable combinations of rate sheets and LLPAs for the borrower's profile. Use Custom pricing when a specific structure is required (for example, an exact 20% down payment, or a specific loan amount).

Why might a scenario return no eligible products?

Common causes include:

  • Missing income, which prevents DTI from being calculated

  • DTI exceeding program limits

  • Out-of-pocket maximum set below the sum of required closing costs and down payment

  • Down payment configured below the minimum LTV for the selected product

What is the minimum credit score for a conventional loan?

Can the Citi Agency product be used for second homes and investor-occupancy properties?

Yes. The Citi Agency product is eligible for both second-home and investor-occupancy loans.

Does Pylon offer piggyback loans?

No. Pylon does not currently support piggyback (combo first / second lien) structures.

Does Pylon support odd-year amortization (e.g., 27-year, 23-year)?

No. Pylon does not currently offer odd-year amortization terms.

Does Pylon support temporary rate buydowns?

The Command Center does not currently support buydowns. They may be accommodated on an exception basis — contact your account manager to discuss.

Until what time of day can rates be locked?

Rate locks can be submitted through Command Center 24 hours a day.

What does a lock extension cost?

Lock extensions are 1.5 bps per day. If the delay was caused by Pylon, Pylon will cover the cost of the extension.
